Dear Erik and Bobby,

Greetings from Italy!

We have not stopped getting calls about how unbelievable everything was. 

Bobby, you and the band were AMAZING and exceeded all our expectations. Each song you chose to play and every move you made kept the crowd partying. We had such a great time and our guests could not get over you.

Erik, we can not thank you enough for all of your help with the entire process. Obviously we loved Bobby and the band and could not be happier with them. The after party was everything we hoped it would be the more. The gaming tables and the staff were fantastic as were the candy girls. We are so happy that you both convinced us to keep them. They were a huge hit!

Last but certainly not least we have to tell you how awesome the DJ was. He read the crowd  and had everyone dancing till the wee hours of the morning. It was a perfect night. We just want to do it all again now.

Dear Ian,

I originally wrote this letter in late November and apologize that it never made it into the mail. I have been meaning to re-write this letter for ages because memories of Fifth Avenue band are just as powerful today as they were on our wedding day. 

First, we would like to thank you for the extraordinary service you provided us from the beginning of our contract. There was never a question you couldn’t answer, nor a detail too small for you to handle for us. Also, I very much appreciate Michael, from your Long Island office, calling the week of the wedding to confirm every detail. Second, as you well know, other than the ceremony, the band was one of our top priorities for our wedding day. My dream was to have an elegant wedding, but also a fun party. You assured me that the Fifth Avenue band would be ideal, and you were incredibly correct. From the first moment, the band was fabulous. The introductions went very smoothly and Fifth Avenue had our entire crowd dancing immediately following our first dance. We danced all night thanks to the incredible talent of the band members. Our guests kept commenting that each song sounded like it was sung by the original artist. And, finally, the after-hours DJ was such a hit. I still laugh when I think about our guests’ reaction to the surprise appearance of the DJ. They were thrilled!

Please extend our sincere thanks to the members of the Fifth Avenue Band. Their talent poise and personality were key to making our reception exactly as we had wished. We will recommend Hank Lane without reservation to anyone. And, I know Antonella, the wedding coordinator at the Water’s Edge, is spreading the word about you as well. Again, our deepest thanks to everyone at Hank Lane.

Dear Michael and Harlan,

I wanted to thank you, yet again, for providing us with such an excellent DJ for our party last night. Even though we had this year’s event in the lobby of  our offices, and staff were reluctant to get up and dance, Rob remained the consummate professional and never gave up. During the last hour of the party people were finally liquored up enough to get out on the dance floors and they had a great time.

Please give my thanks to Rob. He is such a friendly and accommodating person, and very sweet. A lot of staff complimented me on my choice of DJ’s. You’ve never steered us wrong but, I think I would have to say that Rob is my favorite!

Dear Kim,

Words cannot begin to describe how thankful Ben and I are to have used DJ Morrissey at our wedding. Although I was a bit nervous through the entire process, your recommendations were fantastic, and DJ Morrissey made our guests have the time of their lives!

I really love the way he effortlessly transitioned from song to song, without making anyone even notice that the previous song had ended! It  was just hit after hit! He seemed to play exactly the types of music that requested, and even my 80 year of grandmother was dancing!!

They say that the music makes the wedding, and in my case, my wedding was everything I dreamed of. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Dear Mr. Lane,

I am writing to you today because I find that in today’s world too many people write or call to complain and not enough people give compliments when they are due. I tried to call you personally however you were unavailable, so I decided to write to you instead. Three years ago, I met with Colleen Straker by recommendation of Mary of V&Z Catering to discuss my daughters Bat Mitzvah. My husband and I left that meeting confident that Colleen was the one for us. As a matter of fact, on the car ride home we decided that even though she was the first person we met with we were not going to meet with anybody else. She understood our needs, was willing to work with whatever budget we gave her and frankly we loved her. Apparently, our gut instincts were right, she was such a pleasure to work with, so talented, professional, easygoing and everything she promised she provided and then some. She is an absolute gem!!

At this meeting I requested Kevin because I had heard wonderful things about him. After changing the type of party we were having it turns out that kevin was indeed our MC. There are not enough adjectives to describe how utterly amazing Kevin was at our party. He is talented, professional, super charismatic, a fabulous dancer and just an all around terrific guy. I am so thrilled at the job he did. I would also like to complement Doug as well. Between Kevin and Doug I was in excellent hands. They were so tined into what was going on, Doug paid attention to the flow of the party and picked songs to keep the party moving. Kevin and Dough together are an excellent team.

In addition, my dancers, Cort, Allison and Lauren were just as fabulous. They got people dancing that promised me they would never dance! They too were professional and a pleasure to have around. Not to be forgotten is Heather! She called me a few weeks before my party, was professional, super nice and so very helpful with my song choices. I then met her when I dropped off my paperwork a few weeks later. To my surprise she was at my party doing the zap shots! She did a wonderful job. She too was a pleasure to work with.

My husband and I feel that we made the right choice in choosing More Than Music for our party. I want you to know that you have a wonderful, talented group of people working for you and you should be very proud of them. so from the bottom of my heart, I want to thank Colleen, Kevin, Dough, Heather, Cort, Allison and Lauren for the excellent job they did to make Alexa’s Bat Mitzvah celebration such a huge success.
