Dear Bobby, 

Well, it’s been about a month and a half  since our July 22 wedding in the Crystal Room of Tavern on the Green, and my family and I are still floating on air. What an incredible night that was… and so much of the magic of the evening is because of you and your band. Let me again tell you that I listened to hundreds of bands when choosing the bad to perform at our wedding, and as soon as I heard your cd, I knew that you were dead and shoulders above anyone I’d heard before. The evening of the wedding, your incredible talent and showmanship had all of us dancing the night away in sheer exhilaration. I cannot tell you how many people came up to us afterwards and said “That was the best band I have ever heard perform at a wedding.” We were already on such a high from the incredible joy of getting married, and your music just took us “higher and higher,” to quote that old motown song! That you so much for putting 110 percent into your performance for us. Thanks also for doing such a obscure song that most people have never heard of… but which means the world to my husband and myself. Hearing you and your fantastic band with your wonderful backup singers doing glorious harmony, filling the Crystal Room with our sweet little song… it was such a powerfully emotional moment for us, reminding us that this was truly our night. Another highlight for me was your fantastic rendition of “Crazy in Love,” when all of my best girlfriends and I took to the dance floor in a frenzy of boogying… amazing! There were so many things that I asked of you, and you honored all of my wishes and helped make the night a dream come true. The evening may have ended, but in our hearts, the music is still playing.

We just got back from the honeymoon, otherwise I would have written sooner. I just wanted you and the other band members to know… People are still raving about the wedding, especially the band and I just wanted to thank you for an awesome evening. You’re fantastic and everyone loved you. They can’t stop talking about the band. People are saying that it was one of the best weddings they ever attended. Everyone had a ball.
